Create a Personal Christmas Tree
Hey Kids, have you ever wanted your own Christmas Tree in your room!? What about a tree that does not take up much room in your living room? Well, here is a really fun way to get in the holiday spirit and create a tree.
What you will need:
*Green Poster Board
*Scissors
*Tape
*Artificial Pine Cone Garland
Directions:
Take a large piece of green poster board and cut a circle, with a slit out to make a cone. Tape it with clear packing tape. Take an artificial pine garland and wrap it around the cone, completely covering it to create a small tree. Fasten the ends in place so it doesn’t unwrap.
***Try adding decorations! The tree can be decorated with lightweight paper ornaments that the children can also make. You can have them color their own cutouts, use old pictures, old small toys, or even some fun craft ornaments that you make together! Use ornament hooks or sting to hang them.
Remember to share any fun ideas or photos with me so I can post them! – Ella the Elf
